When I get homesick for the small town that I grew up in on Long Island, New York, we drive to the coast and visit Bandon. Bandon has quaint shops, boats, seafood and sea gulls as well as beautiful stretches of beach and ocean. Looking for a place to paint, I explored and found this spot with the lighthouse in the distance. The weather was damp and blustery, with the fog rolling in the background and the waves crashing about. The gulls were numerous and posed for me.

For each Bandon Lighthouse print ordered, a donation will be made to Doctors Without Borders, New York. This group provides medical relief worldwide to populations suffering from disease and neglect.
